Meditation

To begin meditating one may try videos and things to experiment, or even a guided daily meditation, such as this one: https://youtu.be/thjrAfpeJ7A?feature=shared, which I believe is the one I started out with!

Guided meditations are great. If you like them, you may find the courses "The Art of Manifesting" and "The Silva Method", as well as basically every course on Mindvalley wonderful. They can help you, in a Western way, to experience intuition, equanimtiy, and wisdom.

Guided meditation can do anything, helping you reach these inner states with the help of the trainer.

That said, I took a passive meditation path of just sitting and listening to whatever comes up to get here, and created my own path, so I'll teach you about what I've done...

Passive meditation is especially useful when one is experiencing difficulties in their life, staying focused on peace to some extent, and growing it back up. it can also help you turn your whole life into an experience lived from altered states of consciousness, such as alpha, related to imagination and inner focus on one's subtle body, also known as the link between the conscious and subconscious. The laws of the subtle body govern all that we call "physical body" as one may realize thorugh enough inner care, crossing over into the subtle body completely.

Meditation is also called "just sitting". Just sitting with yourself, and sitting with whatever comes up, not giving up.

The first 30 minutes are often known as the break-up from one's ego, and the next 15 are known as the intermediary between earth and heaven. Thus it will take at least 45 minutes usually for you to experience peace, rather than just healing, while meditating.

Good luck!

You're going to like jumping things up quickly, probably. From 15 minutes as your best without any guidance to 45, then to one hour and something, or two. You'll find it fun.

Back in the days if you grew it that fast and opened such a big healing portal your life would fall apart and you'd seem to - because of spirituality - be in more trouble.

These days, though, there are tons of support systems... though you may still find references to wanting to give up and "wishing you were not spiritual" on the Internet. It's an old phenomena. People usually found, then, that actually this difficulty, unlike their usual suffering, feels joyous, in a sense, and freeing, and is bringing you closer to yourself

That said, you should not, unless you want to be miserable, remain forever a shadow work enthusiast, or someone that keeps themselves in negative situations to learn about themselves.

We only learn about love through love and happiness, so you should always aim to experience happiness, and realize that it is it that allows you to see clearly and truly.

You should not get tricked by the illusion that we live in a guilty Universe where you need to suffer for the good of darkness, because that is an illusion. "True love is guiltless."

With time, you will find that you can mix more stuff with meditation, like music, breathwork, or reading, and that this just happens naturally and healingly, improving the state of both your meditation and the matter you are working on, and eventually, all, as it brings you closer and closer to the infinite perfection you were born to live.
